You're invited to join Jack & Jill to march in the 51st annual Junior Daffodil Parade Saturday, April 21nd 10a.m.
The Daffodil Festival 51st Annual Junior Parade is hosted by the Proctor District of Tacoma and is geared to children and encourages fun, creativity and partnership for the young people of the area. Costumes, pets, music and non-motorized floats make this parade a special event. Parade route is in Proctor district from Mason Middle School to the Wheelock Library. It starts at 10am and groups are being staggered this year to reduce waiting time for those marching. Jack and Jill is to meet at 10am on the Mason Middle School field/track (on the side closest to the back of the school). Please arrive no later than 10:00am. Parade is held rain or shine. Your whole family and anybody extra is welcome to march with us. Parking is very difficult so allow time or arrange for drop-off. If you and your child have Jack & Jill t-shirts or sweatshirts, please wear them. Costumes that are theme related, "Don't Stop Believing", are welcome. This is a fun, free event and you get a parent ed credit! There is a sign-up on the entry door at the preschool, if you're planning on marching (participation is voluntary). This will be a great opportunity to get out with the kids, earn a parent ed credit, and let the public meet our school!! |
